Rush, Bay-BEE!!
All right, friends ... welcome back!
This time we do some live en-route podcasting both to and from the Sleep Train (aka Concord) Pavilion to see that perenially kick-ass band Rush on their Time Machine Tour!
Naturally, on the way up we recap our weeks/weekends. And on the way down, we recap the concert. How logically awesome is that? :-)
Happy Listenin', and KMSMA!

We're back Baby!
After a week off for Memorial Day, we're back. Hope you missed us.
So, this week, even though it's not memorial day, it's the 67th anniversary of D-Day...and that's a biggy in case you forgot.
Hats off to all the guys who served, sacrificed and helped rid the world of those scumbags Nazis.
We talk about the Canadians too, who participated heavily, but seem to get very little recognition. They had their own beach, Juno. The US had 2, the UK and Commonwealth had 2 and the Canadians, even though part of the Commonwealth, had their own.....and get very little recognition for it. Way to go guys. You kicked some serious ass.
Talking of heros....here's an amazing story of a Gurkha, who fought off 30 Taliban in Afghanistan.....30!
If you don't know who these guys are.....this is them. Amazing people.
Simon replaced his dead PC with a spanking new iMac....yeh baby.
Greg talks about how he's looking for work. He's mainly online, using Linkedin. and http://www.theladders.com.

BEST OF: Memorial Day 2010
All rignt, friends ... welcome back!
We're taking this Memorial Day off, and going with a "BEST OF" this time. From our notes last year:
It turns out the answer to that question revolves around our guest today....Nick.
We explore a range of subjects today, from favorite bands, discussing alternatives to the title "Debbie Does Dallas" and gun laws and safety.
For more info, check out our blog at:
In the mean time, enjoy the podcast....we did making it.

Flowers in our hair.
This week we talk about Greg's current "in between jobs" situation.
Greg, caught during the recording, with Hipstamatic for iPhone. |
Simon's weekend in San Francisco, with the highlights being:
Dinner a fancy new restaurant. Well, new as in it started in January 2011. It's called Atelier Crenn, and it's at 3127 Fillmore Street which was spectacularrrrrrr.
Union Square, San Francisco, at night. |
Simon spent a fun afternoon in Peasantpies.com, with Karen, a former guest and good friend of us and the show of course....a very fun afternoon.
The aforementioned pies....yummy indeed. |
We got to hang out and speak to Charlie Corriea, a interesting artist.
Some of Charlie's work. Amazing stuff. |
The Rapture......that wasn't.
We end on a strange subject, with conflicting stories. The California Supreme court orders prison numbers reduced to save costs.
(I know, it's Fox news, but what can we do....sorry.)
But at the same time, our tax dollars at work with a prison that only has 2 inmates.....seriously, WTF?!?!?!?!.
